About Kuda’s Work
Kuda begun her career as a research chemist at Plus Five Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd in 2016. Through her work with businesses and industries she has gained a deep understanding of how industrial activities and other waste management issues contribute to the degradation of the environment and climate change. She is therefore passionate about applying innovation and technology to solve some the biggest waste problems Africa has today through her business that offers innovative waste solutions from development of waste management systems to recycling processes.
Accolades
Kuda has blazed a trail of impact which solidifies her mission as a green innovator & disruptor. Her work has received multiple accolades. In 2020 she was named as one of the 50 under 30 Emerging leaders in Zimbabwe. Vital Recycling and Target 13 have received several awards including Environmental Stewardship and Social Impact Award from the CSR Network Zimbabwe in 2022 and 2021, Best Recycling and Waste management company in Zimbabwe by Green EnterPrize. She also holds innovation awards.
Education and Affiliations
Kuda holds an honors degree in Applied Chemistry from the National University of Science and Technology Zimbabwe. She also holds various certificates in business leadership, waste management, social entrepreneurship from various institutions. She is an alumnus of the Cherie Blair Foundation, Academy of Women Entrepreneurs, Green Innovations HUB and also a Mandela Washington Fellow.
